Sales terms
Our sales terms contain very important information regarding your rights and obligations, as well as limitations and exclusions, which apply to purchases and orders made with ÉQUILON LIMITED. These terms and conditions apply to purchases made directly by consumers via the internet, by telephone, in person, or by any other means. Our terms and conditions also refer to various policies that we advise you to read carefully.
Privacy
ÉQUILON LIMITED has a privacy policy that explains how we protect and use the personal information we collect about you. Specifically, our policy describes how we collect, process, use, protect, and share your personal information. See our "Privacy Policy" document for all the details.
Electronic Communications
When you visit our website or communicate with us by email, you are communicating with us electronically. By communicating electronically with us, you acknowledge that these exchanges have the same value as if they had been delivered in writing by hand.
Limited Warranty
ÉQUILON offers a basic 1-year limited warranty at no cost on all its computers, parts, and labor. We also offer an extended warranty of 2 or 3 years, at an additional cost. See our "Warranty Policy" document for all the details.
Payment Methods
Unless otherwise agreed with a representative, ÉQUILON must receive payment before accepting an order. You can pay by credit card, debit card, Interac, bank draft, or electronic transfer.
Sales Taxes
All prices displayed on the ÉQUILON website are excluding taxes. Taxes are calculated at the time of ordering based on the delivery address. In Quebec, for example, federal and provincial sales taxes amount to 14.975% of the purchase amount.
Delivery Fees
ÉQUILON personally ensures the delivery of its computers in the greater Montreal area. We also offer delivery service via carriers for the rest of Quebec. Our delivery times are 1 week for in-stock computers and 3 to 4 weeks for computers to be assembled (pre-order). Our delivery fees are $100 per computer for the Montreal area and $200 per computer for the rest of Quebec. Additional shipping fees may apply for deliveries to remote areas.
Processing Times
ÉQUILON will ship orders for computers in stock within 1 week. Orders for computers on pre-order (to be assembled) will be shipped within 3 to 4 weeks. Orders partially in stock will be delivered as computers become available.
Order Status
ÉQUILON will regularly update you on the status of your order. A tracking number will be sent to you as soon as your computer is shipped. You can also check the status of your order by logging into your account on the ÉQUILON website.
Order Modifications
You can modify your order within the first 48 hours after your purchase. You will be billed or refunded according to the amount of your new order.
Order Cancellations
You can cancel your order, at no cost, within the first 48 hours after your purchase. You will be fully refunded for the amount of your purchase.
Returns
ÉQUILON offers you the option to return your computer, subject to conditions, within the first 30 days after receiving it. We will refund the equivalent of the computer's purchase price minus the initial delivery fees, activated Windows license fees, and a 25% return fee. Prices
Despite all the attention we pay to our communications, errors in prices or product descriptions may occur on our website. For these reasons, ÉQUILON reserves the right to cancel orders resulting from a price error or any other error. See our "Pricing Policy" document for all the details.
Limitation of Liability
ÉQUILON's liability is limited to repairing or replacing warranted parts. ÉQUILON disclaims all liability beyond the limited warranty and shall not be liable for any losses, costs, expenses, inconveniences, or damages that may result from the use or inability to use the computer. Under no circumstances shall ÉQUILON be liable for any damages exceeding the price of the computer. See our "Warranty Policy" document for more details.

Please call our technical support number at 514-409-9220 or email us at support@equilon.ca for technical assistance. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please note that we offer technical support for our equipment only. We do not offer support for your operating system, software, web applications, peripherals, internet connections, emails, data, or any other issues not related to your computer.
Conflict Resolution
Occasionally, we may disagree on certain aspects of our relationship. Before resorting to arbitration to resolve a dispute, the parties must first attempt to resolve their dispute in good faith. Each party must then communicate in writing to the other party its view on the complaint, claim, conflict, or dispute, and its proposed solution to the conflict. The parties must then make an effort to negotiate a settlement of the claim. If the parties fail, they agree to present their dispute to the Canadian Centre for Commercial Arbitration (CCAC) in Montreal for a final and binding resolution.
Applicable Laws
This agreement and sales made under it are deemed to have been made in the province of Quebec and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of that province as well as the applicable laws of Canada. The parties hereto submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the province of Quebec.
